Use

DTF (Direct to Film)

A relatively new technology that combines the durability of screen printing with the capabilities of digital printing. DTF prints are valued for their excellent flexibility and crack resistance, as well as intense, vibrant colors. This method uses special inks and an adhesive powder that, when cured, creates a flexible and durable bonding layer.

Caring for printed clothing doesn't have to be complicated, but it does require awareness and following a few simple rules. It's crucial to wash clothes inside out, at a low temperature, using mild detergents, and to avoid tumble drying or dry cleaning. Remember that each printing method has its own specifics – understanding them will help you properly care for your favorite clothes. By following these recommendations, you will significantly extend the life of your personalized T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other clothing items.

Possible Print Damage and Its Causes

  • Unfortunately, improper washing can lead to various types of print damage. The most common problems include:
  • Print cracking and crumbling: Often caused by washing or drying at too high a temperature, as well as excessive spin-drying. Some types of film—especially older or low-quality ones—are more susceptible to cracking.
  • Color fading: The print loses its intensity, becoming dull and less vibrant. This can be caused by strong detergents, excessive sun exposure during drying, or frequent washing at high temperatures.
  • Print peeling and wrinkling: This is usually the result of rough washing or rubbing against other clothes in the washing machine.
  • Stretching and warping: Especially noticeable on prints made of less elastic materials. Intensive spin-drying and tumble-drying can stretch the fabric, leading to deformation of the print itself.
  • The main causes of this type of damage are high water temperatures, strong detergents, intensive spin-drying, rubbing against other clothes, tumble-drying, and ironing directly onto the print.
